Root No lock screen, help

So I gave my dad my old droid X, I put Miui on it and he didn't like the lock screen, so I went to change it. Well it didn't take and there is no lock screen so I can't get into the phone at all. I'm letting it charge right now and I'm about to dirty flash Miui to see if it reinstalls the default lock screen. Wondering if maybe someone here knows of another way so I don't have to flash Miui again.

See if u can boot it into safe mode... hold volume down and power on.... hold this till it completely loads up... or try booting into recovery and maybe doing a factory reset idk if it will work or not... I'm sure u will still have minu rom bit it make delete all the changes u made idk

Thanks for your reply. It wouldn't boot into cwm so I ended up having to boot into android recovery and wiping/factory resetting. It's all working now, was just a PITA lol
