No love for the 10e?

5.8-inch S10e ($749)
6.1-inch Galaxy S10 ($899)
6.4-inch S10+ ($999)
7.3-inch Galaxy Fold ($1,980)

$749 feels a bit high for the low end model, but the S10e does look good overall.

Why is there a need for four iterations of the same model? And knowing Samsung there will be an international version of each as well as specific branded variations. It's like the base model of a car that the salesman tries to steer you away from.

The S10e is priced higher than my S8+ when it was released. It's been a great phone and I have no need beyond desire to upgrade. I hope it continues to be a great phone until the 10 prices come down somewhat.

I don't want to resurrect the old jibe about Samsung copying whatever Apple do, but a slightly lower-spec model at a price that is still high by most standards, just 6 months after Apple introduced this strategy, does kinda look that way.

That said, it seems the most attractive of the s10 models to me.

Bascially why is this cell phone has way too many functions for, a phone that can be five different sizes anyways? Who wants to hold a giant tablet in their arms though?
me....i love my note 10+. curious as to what they are going to do with the note 20 and the note 21 the following year. after having the note series for over 5 years now, i can't see my self going back to a smaller screen.

If you had it in your pocket more then you needed it.. I know what you mean man, I stream more on my tablet then on my moto.

Meanwhile I'm noticing that Apple seem to be putting more effort into phone-sized phones (the recent SE and persistent rumours of a smaller iPhone in this Autumn's released) and hoping that Android manufacturers will follow.

It really would be nice for manufacturers to offer a choice, rather than most offering what used to be called phablets and nothing else. I do worry that this may eventually push me to jumping ship if the trend continues (even the smallest Galaxy S is getting bigger).
