Help No LTE/4G? Help!

After I flashed CM12.1, and then went back to Stock ZV5 with a custom kernel, I've lost 4G/LTE. I have it enabled in Mobile Networks settings, but it shows no IP for 4G. I've also tried updating the PRL, any ideas on how to fix this?

You can...
1- flash the zv5 modem and APN fix for your carrier
2- Install newest version of Cany ROM (this fixed it for me)
3- look around in the root forum for the numerous other threads on this subject for other ideas

Where can I get this zv5 modem and APN fix for Sprint prepaid?

Also, I just flashed the sprint APN fix and it still isn't connecting to 4G

The modem is in the stock zv5 thread. You may have to install Candy to get it fixed, I did.

Don't you not have service on your Volt?

Correct, I don't have service but for the past 2 months it still connects to 3G. I can't use any data on 3G though. And it still let's me make and receive calls even though I haven't bought a phone card for it in months, which is odd. But I'm not complaining lol

Does the candy ROM that you flashed have the same camera issues that the CM12.1 has beings is built off the same source?

I didn't have any camera issues with either one other than having to use something other than stock. Just CM broke LTE. I had other issues though. I only installed Candy in attempting to fix my LTE.

Did you install the Candy_5 Unofficial? And did you install anything else with it? Sorry for all the questions.

No problem, yes, that's the only Candy ROM we have. Installed it (and gapps), the zv5 modem, and apn fix all at the same time, in that order.

It's the other way around actually (Candy is CM 12.1 based), but there seems to be something different in the data stuff for some reason.

Did you dial ##72786# after updating PRL?
