Help No Message Count, No Notification Sound

Regardless of settings, there is no text message counter and no notification sound, and no indication in the notification area. Any suggestions?

It was an application conflict. This is a very nice phone, however I am growing increasingly irrated at number of application compatabilities I have run into. More so, ICS 4.04 has been out for over a year, so their shouldn't be any as far as I am concerned. My bionic ran flawlessly and ran everything on Gingerbread. The Razr HD is not as solid as a user experience. I have restored this phone countless times. I am still in the 14 day window, so whats the sense of keeping it if the apps I use cannot support it. And last, it should have been released with Jelly Bean. Same ole, same ole, promises promises. They did the same thing with the Bionic and to this day its STILL running Gingerbread.

I have 85 apps installed and have not found any that don't work. I have wallpapers, live wallpapers, calendars, news, games, utilities, etc. all work fine. Could it be a weak developer your having problems with. I admit that I don't download apps with less than 5,000 downloades.

Yes, a list of apps that you are having conflicts with would be helpful - if only to help others avoid similar problems.

I have not had any conflicts either but I've probably only put on about 75 apps, give or take a few. I came from an iPhone which was very solid and glitch free. I've rebooted the HD MAXX more times in the week I've owned it then the entire 2.5 years I owned the iPhone! But I'm an old PC guy so I'm used to rebooting. And I love the ability to tweak the Android.

Thats just it, I dont know what apps are causing the problem. Phone is clean, no junk. Apps that crash are USATODAY, ZINIO, and APMOBILE. I am running Go Launcher EX, Go Launcher Notifications, Go SMS, Beatiful Widgets, etc. I can compile a list of everything on it if it would help. I suppose it should be taken back to factory and run with the ICS skin and see if these apps crash. Anway to backup the entire phone to a desktop?
