Hi,
I bought a Motorola Moto G 2014 for my wife and she's complaining because there are no missed call or text notifications.
On investigation I see that although missed call and sms notifications appear in the small dynanmic update window at the very top of the screen, nothing appears on the actual large graphical icons for the apps at the bottom.
Every phone I have ever owned will present a number over the telephone icon or sms icon to indicate how many unread or missed calls or texts there have been.
We've downloaded another app for sms messages which creates a large screen pop up when there is a message (but still doesn't change its own icon) but she still hasn't got the missed calls appearing on the handset icon.
Is this a problem with the phone? We cant find anything anywhere in the settings that addresses this.
