No more bill shock?

This is particularly interesting for me as we are developing an App to help users avoid bill shock.

With that being said, is there anyone here who has experienced a surprise in their bill?

Has anyone ever had an issue with a family plan where somebody on the plan went over the allocated amounts resulting in additional charges?

We're actually looking for potential beta tester to help us and provide feedback, so if bill shock has affected you, we'd love to hear what you have to say.
 
this is a really good thing. i wish it could be implemented sooner, it would def make my job easier. People who inadvertently go over on their monthly usage attributes to a lot of our complaints here

Do you work for one of the carrier companies or some other type of business?

Do you think you or anyone you would know might be interested in beta testing an application to avoid this bill shock you mentioned?
 
id be willing to try something like this, if it works, i know a bunch of customers would be interested in this, especially with the new data caps with verizon

The program definitely works!

What's special about this program is that on the back end as well as the front end you can allocate how many minutes, texts and how much data each users can have.

This means you can keep track across multiple phones (on your phone), so the application is geared towards family plans, but is also useful for single users.

We're actually just entering beta stages now, and are likely two weeks away from a public beta. If you'd like to send me your email address and contact information by PM I can send along the information to you and contact you again when we do release a public beta!
 
thats a great idea. i'm on an employee line so i wouldn't have much use for it, but my parents are getting ready to start a family plan with verizon and this would be a great thing for them to have! i'll PM you once they get set up and im sure theyd be happy to give it a try

That would be fantastic!

As long as they're using Android phones their feedback would be invaluable.
