I just updated to 4.4.2 yesterday and am no longer getting message previews on the lock screen like I used to.
Under personalize I think before you were able to customize your lock screen. They had weird names for the type of lock screen like "productive" would have message previews, and that was the one I had selected.
Since the update, this customization of lock screen is gone. Under security you can select to have message previews, which I did. But when I get text messages, I don't have preview tiles anymore, just a (1) next to the message icon.
Anyone know what I could do to get a message preview? Or do I have to download an app like handcent? I dislike the handcent skins and prefer the appearance of the stock messaging app, so I want to try avoiding using it if possible.
