Help No more twitter texts?

I got my HTC Mytouch 4g/Panache yesterday and i've set everything up, synced with facebook and twitter but for some reason the usual texts i get from twitter from the people i subscribed to dont get sent to my phone via text anymore . Is this twitter or my phone ?

Also, is there a way i can see my phone contacts instead of everyone i have on facebook in the "people" app ?

People who have tweeted you, their tweets will be sent through the twitter app. Not your SMS on your phone. Unless you opt for SMS at the twitter site. If that's what you want, you need to go in to your account at twitter and set up SMS. Especially if your number is different. If you got a new phone number that's probably why your not getting them as text messages anymore. I use tweetcaster and all tweets go through that. I'm not set up for SMS through twitter so I don't get tweets through my SMS on my phone. Hope that makes sense?

You will still probably get tweets through your twitter app too. So it would probably be best to use one or the other, but not both. Just my thought.

Oh yes, i have it set up with twitter . And i've checked twitter and i'm still subscribed . and no number changes .
