Help No NFC for my LG Optimus L7 (P708g)?

I recently purchased an LG Optimus L7 (in Mexico). The reason I purchased it was because of the price vs value (I know it's not the greatest phone, but it covers my needs just fine). One of the things that I knew it had was NFC, but it appears the this particular model (P708g) doesn't come with NFC (the instructions in Spanish don't mention it). The instructions in English for the P700 model do have a section on the NFC. So, after this lengthy intro, my questions are:
- Is the NFC disabled for the P708g model (but can be used somehow)? or...
- The NFC is completely missing from this model (and therefore can't be used)?

I speak/read spanish maybe it doesn't refer to it as NFC in the intruction Manual.
If you can find the manual online then i can read it and tell you.

Thanks for the offer of help. I speak/read Spanish also and I'm pretty sure it doesn't mention NFC (which is Spanish would be something like Comunicacion de Campo Cercano... or something like that). I have compared the manual that came with my LG L7 (in Spanish) vs a P700 manual (in English) and it would appear that the whole NFC section is missing. Here a link if you want to review it:

I guess NFC was not included in the p708g model, which is not that much of a let down since NFC is probably not used yet in Mexico.
