Sometimes on my MT my green notification light is flashing but when I go to unlock my phone I see no notification. What does this mean?

No one knows for sure, but it seems like if you pull down the notification pane as though there was a notification, the flashing will go away (at least for a while).
If I get really bored sometime, maybe I'll use my arduino to look for the green flash and tell my computer to capture the logcat from the phone at that instant to see what just happened

i had this issue with my triumph until i put a custom rom on since then i havnt had any ghost messages
from my experience this issue occurs when you missed a phone call.even if you clear it from the drop down bar it will still remain.try this:menu-settings-applications-manage applications-all-dialer and dialer storage- clear cache and clear data.the green light will disappear,on mine at least.you can clear your call log as well.
Yep- seems to happen on stock ROM & most other Froyo ROMs for me (seemed not to do it on the U9000 ROM tho). Clearing the call log seems to help. I assume it's related to the issue of rebooting the phone and if you have had a missed call in the log, it will pop up a notification. Just another one of the Triumph's endearing quirks, which can add up to you wanting to throw the phone out the window occasionally.
