Help No notification when receiving text msg

Thanks for the pict, I was wondering why I didn't see this on my phone.
I'm US VZW, it's not showing for me either.

I don't see the notification button on my phone(AT&T) I see Bluetooth ,gps,wifi,Mobil data,sync

Please help!

I have turned on the notification on the text message.

I tried to follow the thread which says there is a notification button on the top menu, but I don't see it. I have AT&T.
I see gps,wifi,Bluetooth , mobildata,sync,message(which is turned on)

Go into your Messaging app. Press the menu button, then settings. Scroll to the bottom to check that notifications is on.
