Help No notifications on lock screen :(

Hello, I'm new here, and this is m first post. New android user, got a 3vo for me and an evo for mi wife 2 weeks ago. We're both very happy.

I am having an issue with the notifications in the lock screen icons. Right now I have phone, email, gmail and handcent in my lock screen, but I've never seen notifications for hancent or gmail in the lock screen icons. I think I had one for email (don't get to many emails on that account) and for missed calls.

I know there was already an issue with the lock screen phone icon that was fixed with an OTA update. Is this also a known issue or is it me doing something wrong?

The notifications will be up top on the notification bar. Only sense icons (Like the default Mail app and Messages app that came with the phone) will show updates on the lock screen.

So the gmail app is not supported? On android? I can understand handcent, but gmail?

Nope. The gmail icon is not a Sense icon. The regular mail icon is though. Go figure.
