Help No notifications

I have Prestigio tablet model PMT3111_Wi and i don't see the visible notifications and i can't hear sound notifications of my apps. Sometimes they only appear only when i wake up the screen. What should i do?

Hey there

To check about notifications sounds > Go to settings > Sounds and notifications > And check if there is a notification sound set or not and check out for the volume too.

To check specifically for different apps > Head on to app notifications in the same Tab and there you can check all the related things .

I haven't been able to understand what does " Sometimes they only appear only when i wake up the screen" actually mean. It would be great if you explain it better .

Have you changed the default notification sound recently?

When it goes to the lock screen after while and shuts the screen off, i must unlock it to hear audio notifications
and sometimes the visible notifications are missing too. They only play i think when you unlock the lock screen sometimes. I tried changing notification sound also and didn't helped. It is Android 5.1.1

I just found out that audio notifications are not working even with the screen on.
