No notifications

I've installed Handcent and since I disabled standard message notification, I have not been getting notifications (no sound, vibration or icon on notification bar) on sms. I think this is also affecting other notifications such as ebay (but I haven't expected too many so I can't be sure).
I have a Galaxy Nexus.
Help!!

That was quick. I fixed it by uninstalling GoSMSPro (which had no notifications set, but somehow was affecting it).

Nice one....had same prob. Was beginning to pull what hair I've got left out! Same resolution did the trick for me too.... Ta VM
