Help No option to mount as disk drive when connect usb

I'm not sure if its just me, but I connected the Desire S to a pc using usb cable and there was no option to select "Mount as Disk Drive"??? I have the first Desire and when you connect the phone using usb it gives you the options to select "Charge Only", "HTC Sync", "Disk Drive" or USB Tethering. But the Desire S I played with today gave me all options EXCEPT "Disk Drive" so we weren't able to view the files on the Desire's memory card or add media to the memory card?? Any suggestions what I might be missing??

Try going to computer and see if it shows in storeage as drive.
If not try usb tethering.

Not sure how much help this is but mine shows the 'mount as disk drive' option, as well as charge only, HTC Sync, USB tethering and internet pass-through.

It doesn't show as a storage drive so I thought i had to select mount as disk drive.

I wonder why the one i played with didn't have the option to select mount as disk drive? thats really weird.

Oh it was one you saw in a shop? It probably just didn't have a memory card in if it was a display model, that's my theory anyway.

I actually sell them and when I was playing around with it i did put the memory card in it and plugged it into the usb and noticed that it didn't have the mount as disk drive option in it. I'll take a look again tomorrow when I'm back at work. Maybe i didn't put the memory card in properly.. it makes sense tho.
