Help No option to sync Google Contacts

I would like to be able to sync my Google contacts to my phone (Galaxy S4) as well as the other way around. Is there a way to do this?

When I go into my phone's contacts and look at which contacts to display, there is no option for Google Contacts. Also, when I go to my Google account settings, there are plenty of choices of what to sync but Google Contacts is not one of them.

What am I missing?

Swipe your finger down on your screen and the scroll over to "Accounts tab" if you don't see it on the scroll bar where you see Wifi, GPS, etc .. in the top right corner there is an icon that looks like 4 boxes next to the gear icon.. click on that then go to Accounts .. click on Google .. click on your email address.. check off everything you need from that list (contacts is on that) then click on "Sync Now". It will Sync. I recommend you checking that often to make sure any new entries sync
