Just reflash the ROM

Also nandroid backup once you get everything back and running.

Load a ROM onto a USB/OTG Dongle ,navigate to it in TWRP,PROFIT!
I had to do this on the OPPO N1 when I accidentally wiped the entire O/S,was back in business in no time...........

That's why I got one of these, for the phones that lack an SD Card slot:

Did you flash the stock ROM and recovery or just the stock ROM by itself?

The problem was you used a switcher and you didn't switch back and than tried to flash a rom. The reason the stock rom worked before it flashes the images in the proper place. need to read shit.

i had this problem 2 i just wiped whole phone then cleared caches like 20092894757 times then flashed rom again and it finally worked

If you don't know what you are talking about please don't try to help. His issue was because twrp was on his boot partition due to him flashing a switcher(that he didn't know how to use properly due to lack of reading) and twrp was therefore, unable to mount system.

All that was needed was to use the "reboot recovery" option in twrp(because the phone boots up 'backwards' or opposite of normal when a switcher is being used), or flash the appropriate restore zip and then "reboot system". This issue had nothing to do with the version of twrp installed, and re-flashing the ROM or flashing the stock ROM was not only unnecessary, but also ran the risk of completely removing twrp from his phone leaving it vulnerable to getting bricked.

Wiping the phone "20092894757 times" doesn't have anything to do with the issue here either.

Did you ever get your phone rooted again? I asked if you ever flashed the stock recovery or not because if you only flashed the stock ROM, and did not flash the stock recovery with it, you would still have twrp installed on your recovery partition and rooting your phone would be easy as hell.

Just download UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip then reboot to recovery mode and install it(if you have twrp and not the stock recovery). To boot into recovery mode, just bring up the power menu and select the reboot option, then press and hold volume up(continue holding the volume up button until at least 10 seconds after the phone vibrates) until you either see "twrp" or "android system recovery". If you see twrp then just flash the SuperSU zip and reboot and your phone will be rooted. If you see " android system recovery" then go ahead and just reboot system because it won't help you achieve root.
