No pokecoins

My game works fine. My husband has issues with his shop, there is no option to buy pokecoins. When he opens his shop and scrolls down the last thing in the list is the upgrades and nothing under that. He has reset his phone a bunch of times, the game has been like this since he first downloaded it.

We put in a issue report in the game, but haven't heard anything back yet so I thought I'd ask here and see if maybe someone knew a fix or something.

Never heard of this one! I've so far resisted the urge to buy any coin - but I find myself more and more tempted by the day!
