no proximity sensor in y100?

I bought new ascend y100 and to my surprise phone does not turn off its display during call and goes to sleep instead after 5 seconds. There is no button to disconnect call so I have to wake phone up pressing home button and then disconnect call which is really annoying. There is no proximity settings in call settings either. Did I get a faulty phone or the sensor is missing in it? Thanks
