There's been no discussion here of how the recent update (4.0.4) eliminates all options for USB data transfer between the E4GT and Mac OS. Android File Transfer used to recognize the phone only in camera (PTP) mode, but the option to choose that mode has been eliminated from the "Wireless and Network" menu. If you have not yet discovered this problem and think it's worth complaining about, please start hollering and kicking up dust about it.
If I had not had USB file transfer while on vacation this summer without an internet connection for my computer, I would have lost thousands of dollars in work (not really a vacation, I know).
I am aware of AirDroid and KiesAir, but these are not acceptable substitutes.
