Help No response from screen?

Hello, just few moments ago, my screen stopped taking any touch commands. It displays all colors and everything completely normal, nothing suspicious there, but it just won't react to any of the touches, i can't even unlock the phone?

Is there hope that this is maybe some smaller fail, or touch screen just died ?

Ok so i checked with cell phone "fixers" (don't know how that is called in english ), this reply might help to someone having similar problem in the future

It turns out that the touch layer of the screen died. Fortunately it isn't anything expensive, about 20 euros (25 $) to replace that thing. Phew, i was afraid that such thing might be much more expensive.

Really?

I am haiving a similar issue but the problem is when i factory reset then it woks sometimes and touch works perfectly.. but as soon as i press the sleep button then the touch disappears!
