no response on bottom lower screen

ok my phone has a crack along the right side of the screen,everything works but the lower bottom of the screen,i hd to do a factory rset and now on the setup screen after i hook up to wifi i cant hit the next button to move on.i now theres a way to do it by computer but ive been away from the forum that i cant remember how to get past t or what program to use, can get to anything on the phone except to hook up to wifi,so no usb bebugging or any of that.anyone has any suggestions plz do,i need my phone up and running asap! thank you guys

The digitizer is probably busted, replacement required. Try using a PC mouse via OTG, that should allow you to activate anything on the screen.

I know it needs replaced,it's the lower part below the z-m on keyboard , but is there not away to hook phone to computer and finish my set up?the phone was fine id just turn sideways its first needed but I was getting the screen overlay problem and I did everything I read about fixing it and I decided to do a reset but didn't think about id need the lower part for the next button.dumb dumb,but I know there's away to use computer to control the phone but can't think how at the moment , I've nt been on here in awhile ,

ahhh I have a otg since I found out the hard way you don't do factory resets like back in the day,I ended up buying a otg and replaced the files because it locked me out ,said my password was wrong but got it up and running,t'y for the suggestion , will hv to try that tomorrow

Thank you for the suggestion to use the otg and the USB mouse worked perfectly for me to get my phone back up and running! Thanks again
