no ringtone

I have my phone set to vibrate and ring, yet when a call comes in it only vibrates no ringtone. I missed a few calls and didn't understand why, until i had the phone in my hand and a call came in it only vibrates with no ringtone.
I checked the volume and that's all the way up. Even checked smart actions and the only rules is night time battery saver.

I turned off the vibrate and ring now it won't ring at all.

Is there some other setting i may be missing?

goto system sound settings and try changing the ring tone to something else and make sure ur volume is all the way up

Thanks for the quick reply...tried your suggestion and no sound.

Also, i checked silent mode and it's off..

I'm about to try a factory reset...

Bet it thinks you have a headset plugged in. Does it play any media at all?

Must be thinking something on its own.. But as i played with it, i squeezed against where the speaker is and viola everything is working again...
Should have squeezed before doing the factory reset, PITA. Now seems to be working fine..
Also I had done a factory reset when i upgraded to ICS and at the time all my Apps downloaded back all by themselves. Not this time. I had to check each and everyone and download them individually, major PITA...
But this phone has a mind of its own every so often it will reset back to 4g even when i have it set to cdma only, it re-enables Apps which i disabled or changes my ringtones. something must run in the background that resets stuff...
