No search function on music app

[Lachlanaustralia]

Anyone noticed that there is no search function on the default Music app on Galaxy s6? I feel like this is a pretty major oversight or perhaps there is an issue with my phone.
There is only a "more" button in the top right corner which says settings and edit.
My phone is running 5.0.2 , thanks.

Yeah which is what you would expect. Is there any possible way to uninstall then reinstall the default Music app?

Not really, these are system apps, protected from deinstalling. The only way (without modifying the device) is to factory reset, which isn't worth it. Just install a third party one. There are many great ones out there! Personal preference: Google Play Music.

If you really want to use the default music app, maybe one of the guys who are smarter than me knows a solution.
