Root No Service W/my Precedent

I keep getting com.android.phone has stopped....I have so service, and my airplane mode keeps coming on for some reason? any ideas?

Ive flashed back a few times, unrooted, re-rooted, always the same...stuck in airplane mode, My baseband and hardware version are also unknown.

it's not a bad flash. my friend's phone is having the same issue with being stuck in airplane mode and having an unknown baseband and hardware version, and he DEFINITELY doesn't have a clue what root or flash or rom or odin is.....

anyone figure out how to get a precedent fixed that's forever stuck in airplane mode???
i saw one forum that says it could be a corrupted or damaged EFS folder....
that's as far as i've gotten to as far as figuring out this issue.
i took his 100% stock phone that "won't work" because it's "stuck on airplane mode", and tried ODINing a factory straight talk boot.tar, pda.tar, and phone.tar with a SCH-M828C.ops.... didn't fix the issue... then i did the same with Area51's ARCUSTOM_FE16_PACKAGE and that didn't fix the issue either....

running out of ideas! help!!!!!!!

Fix the corrupted efs directory.

Idk how without a backup.

Umm reflash modem maybe with odin

Reflash to stock non rooted and call straighttalk for a new phone lol.
