Root No service with any custom FW

I just did s-off and got root with the revolution.
I installed latest Virtuous Unity but now my phone does not see my network. I tried different sim cards. I installed another version (2.35) of Virtuous Unity and here is the same problem. I had to restore the default verizone android OS and there is no network problem: the phone sees the network and sim card. Please help me. I want to install custom FW, but I can't...

You may have gotten a bad download. Did you check md5 checksum?

Since you mentioned the SIM card, are you on GSM? Most of the alternative firmware do not support it. Specifically, VU does not yet. There are a couple that are based on the stock ROM that do - Gingersense I think is one of them.

Yes GSM. You know any custom fw for inc2 with GSM support?

You need to look around. One that is based on the stock ROM is the best bet. The only one I have experience with is GingerSense but I suspect there are others. That one is basically a rooted, debloated stock ROM - at least when I looked at it anyway. The ones supporting GSM are closer to stock and less customized as far as I know. Then again, since I don't need GSM I haven't really kept up with it.
