Help No 'settings' in chrome android menu

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9. Android version 8..Oreo.
When using the built in chrome browser and I click the 3 dots for the the android menu, there is no 'settings' option in the drop down.
I'm trying to enable the 'force enable zoom' in chrome but as the 'settings' option is not available it doesn't seem possible.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok. I see that it's using the open with VER. Of Google Chrome. You need the full Google Chrome app not Chrome web view. In order to get settings.
