Help No Signal/Network after doing Hard Reset

I hope someone can help me with my SGS i9000. After I hard reset my phone I cannot get any signal/network which means I cannot make calls, send/receive SMS.

I tried to go to the wireless settings and manually search for the network but it cannot provide any network at all. My phone is reading my SIM card because I can see the list of contacts. But don't have signal.

Can someone tell me what to do? I already tried flashing my phone but it doEsnt resolved the problem.

Is the phone in flight mode?
if so disable flight mode.

Else go to nework settings in the settings menu and set the provider manually

My phone is not on flight mode. Also when tried for available networks it doesn't provide any result.

Is there another settings to check.
 
i had the same problem when i had my SGS the second day. i rebooted it and then my signal came back to call and text.

i heard that enabling to flight modus and then disable it again could work.
also manually remove your SIM, clean it with multicleaner/alcohol. (be sure it's ultra dry afterwards) then put it in your phone again.
 
i have the exact same problem..
i have tried almost everything.. flashed the mobile a couple of times.. tried loading the .tar files without the pit file... tried loading one tar file at a time... nothing seems to work..
pls can someone help!!!!!
