No signal, no SIM Card recognition

HTC Desire A8181. All the other functions of Cell Phone are OK. But it doesn't recognizes the SIM CARD. On Phone Info, the Radio strength indicates "0" dBm , "0" asu.
Probably it's a hardware malfunctioning. Does anybody knows if I can change it's radio part?
How can I do this? Is it sold in internet? I'll look for it.

The radio part might be expensive to fix, it's probably an issue with either the sim card or the sim card port.

I would suggest going into a tech store to see if they can pinpoint which is broken. You can always do this by buying a new sim card.
