Help No Sim Card Detected

I used my phone to text and one brief phone call last night while charging. Once it was charged I unplugged it and this morning I woke to no sim card detected. Is it my phone, is it the sim card? Should I take it to verizon?
 
Take it to Verizon it isn't a lot to do with a burned out sims card . they a little frail thing can get burned out very easy . so take to them have them transfer contacts if needed . good luck and welcome to the forums .
 
Thank you. I plan to go to verizon today. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with a smartphone. I barely use it and data but oh well.

Just think and be happy . what if this happened when you was making a important call . I Dont know why they make the cards to break or aka burn out .
 
Now you can use the device that you paid for without them holding you up with such a minor part a frail Simz card that burned out . you would think they would make the Sims card the best or excellent material . but hey glad to see your working . if you have any problems report back we are here to help you with any problems you have with your Samsung s5
