Help No sim card found

Yno

Newbie
I had the local Verizon company store migrate everything from a Droid Bionic to a perfectly working nine month old Turbo. Now every time I turn on the Turbo, it gives a "No sim card found" message for about thirty seconds, with an exclamation point next to the bars icon. After that, it finds service and seems to work properly. The store says they will replace it under warranty, but I seem to recall people here saying the replacements are refurbs. Not sure what users here would do. Advice?

I have no idea. They kept taking into the back room. The tech did say they reset all the network functions on my account.

I was thinking the same thing. When looking for a solution to a problem, start with the simple things. I'm surprised the tech at the store didn't issue a new SIM card when the first thing they tried didn't work. It stands to reason that SIM cards would become damaged over time.
