Help No Sim?

On my lock screen today I noticed a "No Sim" message where it usually says "Verizon Wireless". I have had it set on 3g only for most of the day and the phone was working fine. I could make/receive calls and texts and use data, even after I turned 4g back on.. Anybody else seen that?

Reboot and it was back to normal. Popped the card out and in just in case after the reboot..
 
I also just tried the phone without the sim. This time it had "No Service|No Sim."


Odd, if you cant get service with No Sim. How did I have just a "No Sim" message.
 
I've had this message for the past couple of days. I can make calls and use Wi-Fi, but when the message appears I cannot access mobile networks. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
 
My brother had this happen with his bionic once, go to a vzw store have them give you a new sim and register it or whatever.

Just be happy people that were on vz because a sim failure only disables 4g/3g when you have that selected if you turn it to cdma only then you should still get mobile data. On AT&T and T-mobile you loose all connection to the world.
 
Im having a similar issue - randomly loose all connection and already had SIM replaced. I noticed problem slightly goes away.........Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is on!

ah, oh yea! Problem goes away slightly when you have WiFi turned on and are near a internet connection.

I havent noticed it since that one time. Knock on wood.
 
Mine is saying the same thing, I called about it and tech support just said that it is sayin it to remind me I need a special one for travel.. which made no since to me because this was a replacement and the other cell doesn't do it.. and now its annoying me.. very badly..like If it was true then I wish there was a button to hit to cut of the "reminder"
