no sound

Suddenly no caller sound and no music sound found in my samsung galaxy y. I have done reset of software also but vain. Please help

No sound at all? Bad speaker, bad amp on the motherboard, bad earphone jack or broken wire. No sound ONLY on music and calls? Ringtones or specific music player? Alarm sounds?

You (or we) need to analyze it down to exactly what's happening and what's not happening.
