Help No sound

Hello,
My S3 recently went through the wash cycle, but after 24 hours in rice it started up perfectly. Except, I have no sound. I can see someone calling but there is no ring tone, I can answer but they can't hear me and I can't hear them. Can't listen to any media. No sound with any apps. Basically, absolutely no sound. I read somewhere that ********** would be an option but this doesn't seem to work (or I have it configured incorrectly). Anyone have any suggestions on how to get sound back?

Wow! It went thru the entire wash cycle and all you lost was the sound?
I have to be honest with you, I'd have thought more would be wrong with it let alone the sound issue.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a solution. You could try to replace the speaker, but I surmise more issues may happen down the road as the deposits left behind inside your device may cause more issues

Don't get me wrong, the rice thing you did is good But perhaps it needs an alcohol bath?
