Help No Update Available, Whats that all about?

So I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 on O2 and as we all know the ICS update was recently made available, however I have had various problems updating via Kies and USB so I went to the Samsung website and followed the instructions to do it over Wi-Fi. So I go to the ABout Phone menu and press check for update and apparently there is no update available! Whats going on, have I been forever cursed to using Gingerbread?
 
Gingerbread is far from a curse, unlike the current state of ICS.
I'm sure you will get your comeuppance in the next few days.

you may be on O2 but have an unbranded s2 or one with CPW firmware

*#1234# to see the FW you currently have

XEUKH2 or similar is a wait on samsung
 
Well it seems the update is definately available for my phone, but its still not happening. This is very annoying, maybe I should just take it to the O2 shop?
 
I got the same problem evnthough the update is out for my phone.
PDA: I9100XXKH3
PHONE: I9100XXKH3
CSC: I9100XAKH3

my csc code was KOR and i chabged it to XEO coz a friend had XEO on his sgs2 and he got the updates. but still i cant. it says no update qvailable and from kies it says i got the latest firmware version eventhough am ar 2.3.4 while the latest is 4.0.0 lol. what shall i do?

Could you re-check your CSC code? :confused:

I'm guessing that you have not got XEO but the, multi-lingual, OXA.
 
I think he's missed a letter off.

I think we need to get a sticky up or something for people regarding CSC and ICS and the likes as there is so much un-needed confusion about it all.

nope i didnt mess a letter out lol.well thats what i got when i typed *#1234#. But when i type *#272#IMEI# it shows me that my csc cod(sales code) is KOR.
