Help No Vibrating Option for SMS

Hi Nooby here,

Just got my Samsung galaxy s3 on sunday
and everything is going well so far
but one thing i find missing is the vibrating option that usually appear under SMS-setting-on the bottom there is no vibrating option
i want to make text vibrate and calls with ringtones
i have tried several ways and so far i have to put the phone on vibrate in order to have vibrating texts

I installed VIBO before but find it useless so i uninstalled it, its rooted
is it the reason why it is missing?
do i have to restore?
please help

yes that is exactly what i am talking about
i have the first two options
Notifications - ticked
Select ringtone
but am missing the last vibrate option
isn't it werid?
so is my phone messed up?
do i have to restore?

You may be on a different software version than me, hence the different settings available.
 
what do you mean by different software?
i have a sgh-t999v
and runs on 4.0.4 os
and isn't vibrate option something that should be on all?
sorry i just want to know if i should restore or not
 
Go to ur messages in box and tap Menu and then settings, there is an option near the bottom for it... I really are you saying that this doesn't always pearl? Because it does on mine...

I am on I9300 and running Jelly Bean.

what i am saying is that following your direction as above
i don't not have a vibrate option near the bottom
thus i am wondering if i can just do a restore for it to appear or exchange it for a new phone

HEy...same is with my phone!!! i have a galaxy s advance and even though vibrate for notification and haptic feedback is on, i dont have vibrate option in message settings....just the two options you have...notification and ringtone..

Even on whatsapp i have kept the vibration on in the settings but it doesnt vibrate for it as well...

me too, i do not see the vibrate option for my s3 as well
