No vibration for notifications

I am not getting any vibration from my G3 for any notifications

With your sound on normal make sure the vibration strength is turned up for notifications. Also if you are wanting it for things like text messages I had to enable mine to vibrate always in the message app settings as well. Most apps have their own vibration settings so check specific apps as well and make sure they are checked. I thought mine wasn't working as well until I fixed those settings.

I came from the Moto X to the LG G3 and I find that the vibration when set to "vibrate" mode on the phone is so weak that I would miss calls or text messages if I did not have the Pebble watch to alert me. I have set the vibration to strong in both my message app and all of the other apps yet I still can't hear the vibration while at my desk. When the sound is set to normal and notifications are set to all the way up, then I can feel the vibration. If this was in my pocket and I did not have the watch, I would miss text messages and calls. This is really the only complaint I have so far with the phone and I guess this is minor in the long run, however, I am thinking of returning the phone. I know that there is no way to change this.

Is that the rapid one that is in the settings? This wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either, except that I have 2 elderly parents who are in assisted living homes and I get calls constantly. When I am at work Monday through Friday, I must have my phone on vibrate.

I have it on 'Type 4' under the settings>sound>vibration type settings. 5 quick blasts every time, very hard to miss. You can even hear it.

Yes when it is in vibrate mode. I am beginning to think there is something wrong with my phone. I have a case on it but even with the case off, I can't her it vibrating. With all of my other phones I have had, I was quite aware that a call or text or email was coming in.

I can agree as I used to have the LG Optimus G and that phone, which I passed down to my daughter, I can feel it vibrate from across the room when it's on a completely different couch. I too thought the vibration was broken on my phone and tested it versus the demo phones at Best Buy and they were all the same. I like the phone too much to return it though. I also have a Pebble and may have to use it more often.

My vibration is a lot weaker than the one that was on my S5 and my co-worker who has a S3 you can hear it across the room. I just think that is how the phone is made. Not a deal breaker for me though.

Hi, I have the LG G3 with Tmobile and I am trying to figure out how to have a vibration plus tone when a new email or text message comes in. I only see the notification light and a tone, but no vibration. I would appreciate any help.
