Root No video

I can't tell for sure if my video app got corrupted before or after I re-rooted my Photon (after the upgrade wiped it out). But there it is, I am able to open up the app, most of the time after I press the big red button it starts recording, but it won't save anything new. Also, the little window on the bottom left corner which it used to show past videos recorded now shows past pictures taken instead. The old videos won't run. So, I deleted them. However, when I try to create new videos they store without any thumb pictures as before, and when I try to run them it says it can't, and then a thumb picture is linked to it, from one of the videos I already deleted; it keeps coming back and attach itself to new videos I create (even though they won't run). How do I remove this app and install a new one? This is the original video app for the photon.
