Ahhh...the old "bundle the app on there, it doesn't matter if it works or not" trick!
Skype video calling isn't working, nor is it likely to...ever. We have to make do with typing!!

Some posters have suggested other apps for video calling but I can't remember which ones might work...someone will advise!!

so if i understand this correctly ,i can't have videocalls with skype on my android tablet and i just have to wait for other people who will give me some suggestions about which app i should take. right?

I thought that Skype 2.0 was required for video? I just got a new Droid 3 and it has preloaded an old 1.something version which does not do video. I have been trying to download 2.0 but seems as though I might have to uninstall the existing version first?

Anyone have any experience with this situation?
Thanks in advance,

The story is that skype video is not supported on the FT3, and as skype is now owned by Micros0ft it is quite likely that the android version will not receive any further development as they will only be interested in the PC version.

STOP PRESS.....just googled to here Download Skype Video Call on Android they claim to have a working skype video call app....wanna give it a try and report back??
