no volume

Ok so my fiancee has the infuse 4G at&t. Phone is obviously crap. The volume/notificationdoesnt work. It will vibrate,but that's it. I was able to fix it a few times temporary by dropping the phone, discoverd that one on accident. But anyways I'm in need of some help or info on fixing this problem. Any help is much appreciated.

Not sure what you mean by this. I have the same phone and it's hardly crap.

If you're temporarily fixing it by dropping the phone, then it sounds like it isn't a software problem and would thus be a hardware problem. Perhaps the one/both of the volume buttons is stuck?
