Root No Wifi Tether with Root

Hey guys I can seem to get my wifi tether to work.

I followed this tut for the root:

and this tut for the wifi tether hack:

no link

Ive tried open garden, barnacle, vzw hotspot, etc and all of them seem to connect decently but when I try and browse the internet no sites seems to come up.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I use this for wifi tether, Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users - Google Project Hosting

Haven't tried all of them #7 works great for me so I stuck with it.
