Help No WiFi?

I have no idea what's going on here, but my phone refuses to admit WiFi is available. I made sure it thinks that function is switched on, and I'm sitting in my living room, where my laptop is having no trouble at all getting a connection to our network. I've also tried rebooting, to no effect, and even a hard reset (pulled the battery for a little bit) didn't help. The only recent changes on the phone that I know about are auto-updates to apps.

I routinely use less than 10% of my full-speed data allotment in a month, so I'm not worried about that part, but the slower downloads via 3G are a bit aggravating.

Am I stuck re-ROMing it, or is there a better solution?

So it sounds like your phone is rooted, yes?

If thats the case, it sounds like a rom/kernel issue.

Yeah, I'm using the CM7 ROM, and haven't changed that in easily a month or more (I figure if it's working, why change?). The problem just showed up this morning.

Just reflash the rom. Wipe system and cache. And flash cm7 and gapps again.

DH fixed it. When he picked up my phone to look things over, he noticed it was aware of our home network but not logging in, and thinks it may have forgotten the password, since entering it himself got it logged in.

I may still reflash the ROM anyway, since the phone's having other odd hiccups. That or just check out a CM9 ROM.
