This tablet looks like the king on paper, beyond all doubt, I'll absolutely be getting it, I'm just wondering why no one on this forum is talking about it yet.

Here is the most recent spec list I could find:

  • 2G : GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • 3G : HSDPA
  • 4G : LTE (will be added to later models I think)
  • 1.5 GHz quad core processor
  • 2 GB RAM
  • Dimensions (mm) 8.8 mm thickness
  • Weight (g) 598
  • IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 1920 x 1200 pixels, 10.0 inches
  • 8 GB storage
  • microSD, up to 32GB
  • Audio Format MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+/FLAC
  • Video Format MP4/WMV/H.263/H.264
  • MP3 Player
  • Video Recorder 1080p
  • Push Email
  • Bluetooth
  • USB Port
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot
  • Data Cable (with Huawei's unique connector)
  • GPS
  • Android OS – 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • HTML5, Adobe Flash Browser
  • 8.0 MP Rear Camera
  • 1.3 MP Front Camera
And apparently can fully edit/handle Word/Powerpoint/Excel documents.

*There will be Wifi only and 3G+Wifi models (well surely they'd have wifi aswell as 3g on the latter model).

Set for release in Q2 this year.

i am very interested as soon as saw specs for it.
any idea of a release date - Q2 could be April - June right?

This looks like a great tablet. Top of my list so far. But as with everything it will all boil down to the price.

I hope tablets support live wallpaper, I hadn't thought about that until now.
Surely I can just install the live wallpaper .apks from a phone if it doesn't.

Right now this tablet is at the top of y list to buy as soon as it becomes available, but I have a few questions about the specs:

1. Does it have an HDMI port?

2. Is the usb port host and client? Can it receive files from a usb flash drive, pc connected via usb cord?

3. 32 or 64 GB internal storage (besdies the micro SD card)?

Thanks for any additional info.
