Nokia 3.1 Plus unlocking

b1989

Lurker
I need some easy information on how I can unlock my cell mentioned above. It's not rooted which makes it difficult as well I've tried a bunch of sites and videos and nothing helped me so far.

The word "unlocking" can refer to unlocking it from a service provider (SIM unlocking), unlocking the bootloader (which IIRC Nokia are not supportive of) or unlocking a lock screen after forgetting the PIN, or indeed attempts to bypass the Factory Reset Protection anti-theft measure (which we don't discuss here). That's why we need more information before anyone can attempt to answer.

unlocked? like from your carrier? can you be more specific on what you want to do?

I just want my cell to be unlocked the carrier. I know my Nokia hasn't been in the paid system for 6 months by cricket. I actually am using my old phone. I just feel like I got jipped and I can't pay for it monthly it's too pricy and I'm going through a lockdown situation where I can't go anywhere to pay cause of what's going on in the world right now. With the virus. I've been a loyal customer for over a year. And I upgraded from a ZTE phone.

ok just to be clear, this is a prepaid phone, correct? not sure how you can carrier unlock the phone that is prepaid. that is something that usually is done by your carrier. there are plenty of services online, but you will have to pay for it.
