Hi all. It is clear the generic Android Calendar app is not fot for purpose. You have to download gt tasks, or simple, or jorte to get anything that is in any way useful.
PLEASE just look at an old style Nokia symbian calendar
Some of the features of the Nokia calendar are:
Add:
1. Meeting
2. Reminder/to do
3. Birthday
4. Memo
really simple/clear with great alarms .. and no deleting itself! ever!
