I can't try the same with my device. I don't know why they tried to show its screen's solidness like this. Does they are trying to tell us that we can use Nokia phone as a hammer if we don't have it at home

Yes i agree with you. They have good solid covers, my blog XpressMusic phone drop 4-5 times, but its not broken, still work fine.

I read that this glass was added after the first batch were sold. Something to do with lots of smashed glass returns from those who were new to wp7. Kind of a "frustration insurance". Now no lumia 900 owner can say "smoked my windows phone"
