Nokia N900 charger w/ Evo ?

I used my friend's yesterday with no problems. Charged very quickly. Took about an hour to go from 25% to about 80%.
 
I would be careful pushing passed 1000mA, I'm not 100% sure what the evo's amp tolerance is. If the tolerance allows for more then 1000mA it will charge faster then the stock charger, but could also damage the device over time.
 
Ok thanks, was just that I left my charger at work and after having it plugged into my PC for an hour and it didn't seem to charge much if at all.
