Non OEM Battery for S5

I will soon be upgrading to a Verizon S5. I noticed on eBay that there are replacement batteries with capacities between 3800 to 4300 which state they fit in the existing S5 cover. It sounds too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with these higher capacity batteries?

that fit "within" the existing cover?

That is feat that the physicists would like to know about...

More capacity requires a vastly greater technology, or a fatter package.

Personally, I doubt that you will require any extra battery power.

If you are a interactive online gamer, then yes, you will need more umph.

but as a regular phone and normal internet surfing? No....

I get 2 and 3 days between charges.

Like I said sounds too good to be true but maybe materials or technology improved. Would like to hear from people who have tried the higher capacity batteries

I have the 10,000mAh version and can charge my S5 about 3 times. Definitely worth the $23.00.

Thanks for the response. It makes sense to me that there was something about the higher capacity batteries that I did not know but you pointed it out.

Thanks

PS: I actually just won a free Jackery Giant + which is 12000 mAH but have not yet decided if I will keep it or sell it. I guess I will wait until after I have bought the S5 and see how I am with the battery

I have a few power packs like that. Love them all for all my devices in case I am not near a plug and running low so I keep them in my purse and cars at all times charged up. They work on tablets and everything. Mary

I use the ZeroLemon extended battery. No it does not fit in the stock case. But it does have everything except wireless charging.
