Help Non-responsive textbox

Hi guys,
I know this is the Galaxy Ace forum but since the Galaxy Gio forum has a very low response rate, I decided to put my question here as well (since Ace and Gio are quite alike...)
So I just bought my Galaxy Gio and I'm very satisfied with the phone. However, one thing is really bothering me... Whenever I receive a message and I want to respond, I click on the textbox but it just doesn't open... It's like the touchscreen doesn't respond on my click. After pressing really hard for like 100 times in different kind of ways the text box finally opens... very annoying! But when I use the touch screen for other things, it is very responsive! So I don't see the problem...Is it a problem in the software of Android texting or so? (Running on latest available version of my country)

That's kinda of a bug in the stock firmware, it will be there till you use original Samsung ROMs

Hmm, I don't seem to understand... You mean that I have to use custom roms then? But then I lose my warranty...

I thought that Samsung would atleast patch an error like this?

Yes, you would have to use custom ROMs, but the better idea is that you use GO SMS Pro/Chomp SMS
