Help None Gmail email acct sync..

How do I sync my email accounts that ARE NOT gmail account? I've searched the forums and found articles but known that gives me a step by step, I'm no amateur, but the N1 doesn't give me the option except for FB, twitter, and active sync, and Gmail. I know it's possible, it just ahs to be! My 2006 Samsung Alias aloud for it, why won't the N1? I even called Goog to ask them and they had no clue, wth Lol. Please help!!

Can you set them up to forward to gmail?

there is a "Get your mail from other accounts in Gmail using POP3" setting, never used it though.

edit, i guess it's called mail fetcher, there's some info on the google help forums
